The Office Rack Acoustic 12U in a New PWM Cooling Test

The Office Rack Acoustic 12U by Lehmann IT underwent a new real‑world cooling test to demonstrate how PWM fans, temperature control and acoustic insulation work together under heat load. A small room heater was placed inside the rack to create a controlled thermal rise, while the temperature display behind the glass door showed the increasing values in real time.
Once the system reaches around 30 °C, the PWM fans automatically increase their speed. With pulse‑width modulation, the fans deliver only the airflow that is actually required. At the same time, the integrated sound insulation ensures that the Office Rack Acoustic 12U remains nearly silent even when the cooling ramps up.
The test clearly shows why this model is ideal for offices, studios and meeting rooms: reliable cooling, intelligent control and extremely quiet operation.
