The edge computing server cabinet is a self-contained IT unit that provides compute power right where data is generated — instead of first sending it to a remote data center. Connected machines, sensors, and IoT devices generate so much data on-site today that pure cloud processing is simply too slow for many applications.
Lehmann IT's EDGE COMPUTING CoolRacks are manufactured entirely in Germany and bring everything needed for standalone operation outside a traditional server room: integrated rack climate control, fire early detection, a rack monitoring Ethernet box, a UPS rated at 5,000 to 10,000 watts, and an automatic door opener. An optional fire-protection housing is available for additional protection.
